Well, yesterday on 30th July 07, Monday, I talked to Weiling about confirmation month coz I wanted to check if I were to tender, would it be 2 months or 1 month. Frankly speaking, I have mixed feelings about tendering...One thing is the friends I've made there and another thing is the management... I've been struggling with these things until I had a talk with Tony (My boss), whom had heard about my concern to tender from Weiling. Anyway, before he came to find me, he had talked to John, asking him about me. Anyway, John told him more stuff on management problem which is one of the reason I wanted to leave. After talking to John, Tony msg me to call him. Anyway, I went out of lab to find him den we went for a "tea break" downstairs.
First, he asked my concerns about tendering and issit due to work or stuff. Anyway, initially after talking, I wanted to changed my mind about leaving...but then when I told him that I intend to work in Aussie, he replied " So, I better not see you in Singapore in 5 yrs." This sentence made me the point to iron my determination to tender. Furthermore, he did not give any offer to try to persuade me to stay, which also means to say, he is not that sincere to hold me...so guess might as well leave.
Anyway, today, 31 July 07, tuesday, I handed him the tender letter this morning, which stated 1 month instead of 2 month(though I intended to stay for 2 months but...we'll see....) As usual, work's having problem again. After I handed in the letter, I went straight to the cleanroom to check on the equipment and other problems. Well...time passed fast...and also I feel low morale in office. It's better to be in production line and chat with the operators and do my projects and stuff than having someone to keep bothering me with funny suggestions when they do not know the background. Anyway, I also pray that one day I will not be like that. Guess now I need to find a new job and also try to go Australian High Commission to check about PR and work permit stuff.... Hopefully this month will be smooth till I leave on 31st August 07.
Sad to leave those friends I made in office and operators...guess can still ask them for emails haha.
